TrialGP Round 1 Recap from Slickwhips Rider - Billy Green

The 2025 season is officially underway, and Spain delivered an unforgettable opening weekend for support rider Billy Green. With a win on Day 1 and a hard-fought 3rd on Day 2, it’s been a strong start for Billy. Here's how it all played out in his own words...

"What a mega start to this years world championship a 1st and a 3rd here in Spain is just what I was looking for. 

Overnight rain Friday made the ground slippery which was going to make it interesting. Saturday started off a bit wobbly as I fived section 1, I dug deep and focused on my self. The rest of the day went very well and I won the day by a comfortable margin.

The second day was stiffened up and I wasn’t feeling my best on the bike, a little wobbly where I needed to be strong on the bike. Three 5’s on the first lap done some damage, I reduced it two two on the second lap. Unfortunately I had a really slack one on the last section of the day which dropped me from 2nd to 3rd.

Anyway I leave Spain happy with my riding and looking forward to Portugal this weekend.
