It was the third round of the Swedish championship only being held over 1 day today and running along with the junior classes as the next official Swedish championship clashes with the European championship.

It had rained all night so the track was pretty wet and slippery in the morning warm up and qualifying which I am really not feeling so comfortable yet with as it has been a long time from I rode those kind of conditions. Ended 7th in qualifying which I felt ok about other than was not great for the start which was a 180 right turn.

1st moto I had a bad start around mid pack but I made quick smart passes into 9th on the 1st lap then it was just a battle the whole race trying to pass on a pretty tight track. I had some good lines though and made my way slowly up to 4th and was right on the back wheel of 3rd with 2 laps to go and unfortunately just lost the front end going into a turn and crashed so ended up 5th. Great improvement on my riding and fitness and to come from behind but still can’t help but feel a little disappointed as the result didn’t r really match my performance.

Moto 2 was another bad start and got myself into 6th but by then the other girls had made a gap on me and I just could not catch back up. I missed the pull at the start from the front girls and my fitness is still not there so I couldn’t do anything better than 6th this moto.

5-6 in the motos gave me 5th overall on the day. I am getting closer and closer to the front girls and back to riding more like myself all the time Plenty of positives again today.I am really enjoying it and the progress I am making.  Just hope my results will show it even more soon.

Thank you again for your help and support. It means a lot.
